Day 5 in Sydney

My last day in Sydney.. I went over to Nicholas' place to drop my luggage in the morning.. Then Nicholas brought me to Boulangerie to taste their famous tarts..

Their strawberry tart is really really delicious!

We walked along Oxford Street..

And dropped by UNSW where Nicholas studies..

It was rather cold and windy on that day..

The university is nice, except for having too many stairs.. but, it is good to 'force' students to exercise :P

In the evening, I flew to Melbourne on Tiger Airways, to catch my return flight to Kuala Lumpur on MAS ;)

Guess what? Yup, after I checked into Melbourne airport, I was 'randomly' selected to go for further inspection to check for explosives AGAIN! Yup, guess I do look like a terrorist!

Day 4 in Sydney

Sydney seems to hear me and offered two days of good weather when I was out visiting almost all the main tourist attractions.. However, it had been raining almost the whole day today.. Plus, I was really exhausted! I wanted to check out the Breakfast on Bridge where 6000 people gathered for picnic on Sydney Harbour Bridge.. but didn't manage to.

Instead, YC brought me to Sydney Olympic Park, which is quite near to his place..

This was where they held Olympics in 2000.. but now it looks pretty deserted..

There are many stadiums around.. this is a smaller one called Acer Arena..

The main stadium is known as ANZ Stadium..

Another landmark in Sydney Olympic Park.. :)

There was a weird statue of an animal showing off its butt.. the only pole there with such a weird statue.. LOL!

In the evening, YC and his gf prepared dinner.. so I had home-cooked food :) I'll be flying off to Melbourne tomorrow evening before returning to Kuala Lumpur! :)

Day 3 in Sydney

YC and Nannette dropped me at Circular Quay in the morning. My tour guide (Nicholas) then brought us to Watsons Bay by taking the ferry..

On the way, we get to see many beautiful bungalows with yachts.. D*mn those rich people! LOL!

It only took less than 30 minutes to reach Watsons Bay.. which we could also go there by bus, but it'll take longer!

There was an event at Watsons Bay.. Kayak racing!

By the time we finished lunch, the guys who were in the race were packing their belongings to leave Watsons Bay..

We walked over to Sydney Harbour National Park.. with breath-taking view..

Cliff so picturesque, it looks good as a desktop wallpaper.. LOL!

We stopped by Bondi Junction and went over to Congee Beach.. The weather was good..

With many babes, hunks and even kids sun-bathing and playing with ice-cool water!

It was so windy and the water is so cold.. yet the sun is burning.. LOL!

I was told the waves at Bondi Beach is much stronger.. so we didn't get to see surfers at Congee Beach..

I thought Congee Beach was very crowded.. not until I saw Bondi Beach!

It looks like a scene from Baywatch..

The quieter stretch of Bondi Beach.. with many topless chics sunbathing -_-"

Not only the beach was so crowded.. the visitors flooded the grass as well :P

Another scene from Baywatch.. for the female fans! ;)

We then went over to Hurricane's Grill and Bar.. one of the famous locations (a must-go in Sydney!)..

That's the world famous tasty Pork ribs (you could choose Lamb), basted in Hurricane's own special rib sauce and grilled until tender. They called it the Uluru of Ribs!

I couldn't finish even the half rack.. Nicholas ordered full rack for himself.. plus he helped me to finish some of mine as well! LOL! Still, I wasn't say it was that spectacular.. not something I would eat over and over again.. LOL! It was still an experience ;)

I was half dead after the second day in Sydney.. but it was worth it.. to see almost all tourist attraction in the city in one day.. LOL! Today, it was more about visiting 3 main beaches in Sydney.. All thanks to Nicholas - my ex-coursemate! :)

Day 2 in Sydney

Nicholas (my ex-coursemate) agreed to be my tour guide during my trip in Sydney. I met up with him at Town Hall in the city..

Town Hall is just opposite Queen Victoria Building (QVB)..

I took a slow walk inside QVB while waiting for Nicholas..

We walked pass BT Tower..

Crossed the bridge at Darling Harbour..

Stopped at Sydney Fish Market for lunch.. it's supposed to be extremely crowded during weekends..

Ordered Seafood Platter for One.. which is so huge!

We went to Paddy's Market as well but I didn't buy anything :P

Paddy's Market is situated right opposite Chinatown..

We also checked out World Square..

Then we went to Hyde Park..

To look at people sunbathing..

Took pictures in front of ANZAC War Memorial..

And took picture at the fountain in Hyde Park..

Then, we went over to St. Mary's Cathedral..

Nicholas loves to eat and knows most of the good places to eat.. he brought me to Sweet Infinity.. A place frequented by Russell Crowe!

They definitely have the best Brownie I've ever tasted!

Then, we went over to Woolloomooloo Bay..

Went over to Finger Wharf and saw.. MY BOAT! LOL!

At the end of Finger Wharf, we can see Russell Crowe's AUD14 Million Penthouse..

Then, we witnessed 5 weddings near Sydney Opera House!

Arguably Sydney's most famous landmark.. :) The Sydney Opera House :)

Performance by aborigines..

The Rocks.. one of the tourist attraction :P

Sydney Harbour Bridge..

And, finally, to witness the queue at a Malaysian Mamak near Chinatown.. which is always crowded (with long queue)! Probably earning 5 figures everyday!

We were so tired by the end of the day.. Nicholas even had sunburn! I had really really sore feet! Yet, we'll be going to the beaches tomorrow! :) That's Nicholas - my tour guide! LOL!
