We had to vacate our family house to stay in a small flat nearby.. Life has been tough.. what happened to our family house?
My mom and my brother were inspecting the damage..
Our living room..
The staircase..
The dining room..
The kitchen..
My brother looked sadly at what used to be our study room..
What used to be my sister + my room..
My brother's bedroom..
Our shared washroom.. sob.. Where we used to brush our teeth.. where we used to knock on each other's door to annoy one another..
My parent's room for the past two decades..
It's all gone now.. what's left is our memory of what used to be our home..
The renovation should be completed by January next year.. Till then, donation is still welcomed :P

Kee Leong's Farewell at Kelantan Delights
Yet another farewell.. Kee Leong has decided to leave us.. According to him, this is his longest-staying job so far.. LOL! 4 years and 2 months of service in BT.. We went over to Kelantan Delights in Sooka Sentral for his farewell lunch..
The environment is quite nice.. Since it's puasa month, the restaurant is not crowded.. well, not that it's crowded in any other months..
The food is quite nice, about RM8 to RM18 (ala carte) but the service was a bit slow..
We then presented a farewell gift to KL..
A Parker pen with engraving that says "KL~Best Wishes from BT".. well, 19 of us paid for the pen.. not the company :P
Group photos.. 17 of us went for the lunch :) Bye bye KL! All the best to you! :)

Another Interns' Farewell at Nagas
It's Victor + Wayne + Stephen's last week of internship in BT.. We thought of just to order Dominos' pizza and eat in the office.. save time, save the hassle, in fact, save money with buy 1 free 1 offer :P However, the interns wanted to go FAR.. so be it.. we were all sweaty when we walked to Nagas in Brickfields :P
These were what we had in Nagas.. At the same time, Grace + Kheng Gek went elsewhere for their farewell lunch with their team..
One of our group photos :)
Simon and I..

Interns' Farewell at Kiliney
One of the interns (Victor) was not around to join us on Monday.. We went over to Kiliney to 'celebrate' interns' farewell for Chiao Er, Grace, Kheng Gek, Kah Boon, Yogaratnam and Nicholas.. All from MMU except Kheng Gek (Warwick). (It's not their last day at work but many of us will not be around on Friday)
Karyn and I with the only three female interns..
Simon, Han Lun and all interns (except Victor)..
Kee Leong joined us slightly later..

Han Lun and Nicholas' Birthdays Celebration
It was Nicholas' (intern) 21st birthday on September 5 and Han Lun's 25th birthday on September 8. We went to The Chicken Rice Shop (again) to celebrate their birthdays.
We bought Pandan Cake from Baker's Cottage.. Many of us surrounded the birthday boys and sang birthday song.
Then, they cut their birthday cake.
Little did they know that Yoon Onn suggested a prank on them.. He bought disposable briefs for them where we write and draw on the briefs..
Han Lun and his disposable brief filled with our well wishes.. LOL!
Then we showed him his actual birthday gift :P
He seems to be more excited about the disposable briefs than his birthday gift - 8Gb SD Memory card for his DSLR. :)

35th PCGHS (KL and Selangor) Alumni Dinner
10 of us were fortunate to attend sponsored dinner at Imperial Garden Restaurant in PJ for our high school alumni dinner (35th anniversary for KL & Selangor branch). The dinner costs RM70 per person but we don't have to pay anything! What's the catch? Well, to join as member (lifetime membership), we need to pay RM102. But, we don't have to join if we don't want to.. Hehe.. (See you eat so much, take so many freebies, dare to not pay or not? :P)
The girls at Table #16.
We're almost the youngest in the entire dining hall.
I think the place is quite nicely decorated and the location is strategic, right beside Federal Highway, next to Armada Hotel.
In fact, the food is quite delicious as well!
Ermm.. trying to look younger? ;)
Later, there was a competition to see which table of guests manage to come out with the most number of items in green.. We brought our green Jusco card, batteries, hair accessories, ear rings, even green chili to the stage..
Obviously, no one else is more kiasu than us.. We won 5 packets of instant noodles each. LOL!
5 out of 10 of us at the table won something from the lucky draw. That's the door gift (each of us has one) and a hamper of junk food won by Joan Ann.
Obviously, I'm never lucky at lucky draws.. knowing that I won't be winning anything without hard work, Janice and I took part in another competition called 'Step on empty tin can and shake at the same time'.. We couldn't produce many flat tin can but we danced like nobody's business and won a bottle of perfume + RM10 dining voucher each :P
We joined as new member - youngest of all on the stage I assume. LOL!
Group picture with other new members and the organising committee members. :)
We had great fun during the dinner - lots of shouting, laughing and crazy moment! We shall plan more activities in the future :)

Dinner at Monash
I've changed my hairstyle.. This time I've straightened it and dyed it dark.. I hope I do look younger this time! Haha! (Younger than my younger sister!)
I went to Monash in the evening to meet up with my supervisor. Her room is situated on the top floor, overlooking Phase 2 of the campus.. If I'm not mistaken, the construction should be finished by 2012.. In the near future, convocation will be held within the campus, instead of Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel..
For some reason, we have free buffet dinner in Monash Sunway again.. I wasn't there for the dinner, but to meet my supervisors and to submit my paper for a conference in Melbourne.. But, since I was there, I might as well eat, too, right? LOL!
So much food, not many of us.. Wuahahah.. I'm going to have free buffet dinner at Monash again next week :P
The first batch of Master of International Business (MIB) students will be graduating tomorrow :)
