Day 3 in Krabi
Day 3 started with buffet breakfast at the resort.. by the pool..
Then, yet another day of island hopping and snorkelling again.. What else to do in Krabi if not snorkelling? We could have gone for elephant ride, hiking and sight-seeing... Oh well...
Our first stop is Maya Bay.. which was where Leonardo DiCaprio shot the movie - The Beach...
This adorable boy sure know how to pose! We took a number of pictures with him.. ;)
We then went around to hmm.. God knows where and the place is beautiful.. with depth from 4 Ft deep to 20 Meter deep!
We passed by Viking Cave.. The Viking Cave on Phi Phi Ley is a cave right at sea level filled with bird's nests. Painted on the walls are ancient color paintings resembling Viking boats hence the name Viking Cave. 10 people stay at the cave.. permanently...
More snorkelling.. more sunburn...
We then stopped at Phi-Phi Don for our buffet lunch... During the last Tsunami, the wave reached 11m high from one end... and then 7m from the other end...
If you see from this picture.. There is no where to run during Tsunami except.. towards the mountain if you can run at world record speed... There were about 1,400 casualties during the last Tsunami...
We walked around for a short while but didn't buy anything...
We then went over to the marine park as our last stop... too bad I used up all the films on my disposable underwater camera.. not knowing the nicest corals and fishes were all at the last stop -_-"
After we returned to our resort, we went over to Wang Sai Restaurant AGAIN for dinner... Well, it's reasonably delicious and cheap anyway :P
