Day 2 in Krabi

Day 2 started off with our tour guide from See Tho Holidays picking us up from the hotel around 8.30am.. Again, this island hopping + snorkelling day trip is part of the RM299 package which we paid during MATTA Fair..

We travelled via speed boat to Railay Beach... The beach is a small peninsula located between the city of Krabi and Ao Nang. Accessible only by boat due to the high limestone cliffs cutting off mainland access.

These cliffs attract rock climbers from all over the world, but the area is also popular due to its beautiful beaches and quiet relaxing atmosphere.

Accommodation ranges from inexpensive bungalows popular with backpackers and climbers, to the renowned jet-set resort of Rayavadee, costing about RM2,500 per night!

The weird thing is.. I was at Kanamara Matsuri in Kawasaki last month.. looking at penis-shaped altar.. and now, in Krabi, I can't seem to escape from looking at the same thing again -_-"

Next, we went snorkelling at Tup Island..

We took picture in front of Chicken Island on our speed boat... It is named Chicken Island because of the chicken-shape rock on the island...

There were many fished around Chicken Island and Ai Tee, Ling Chin and I were.. touched by a jelly fish.. the stinging sensation lasted over a day and part of my right arm was swollen -_-" Our tour guide applied vinegar on our arms.. and on Ling Chin's face!

Next, we went over to Poda Island for lunch...

We saw a slim and sexy girl posing for photos...

Too bad we can't say the same about her partner though...

We enjoyed swimming at Poda Island...

And saw someone else who found the ultimate way to avoid sunburn!

On the way back to our resort, I bought a picture of myself as souvenir -_-"

After showering, we went out for the famous pancake.. with different types of fillings.. it is like a crunchy Roti Canai..

We paid about RM6.00 per person on public Tuk-Tuk to travel to Krabi Town (about 35 to 40 minutes)..

The famous landmark at the town (which is about 2 minutes walk from one end to the other) was the cavemen traffic light...

Then, I saw.. a penis-shaped log next to a hawker stall.. I didn't know they were really into praying it... -_-"

We tried some local delicacies at the nearby market and then went into Swensen to have their ice-cream at about RM5.50 each.. considerably cheaper than the ones in Malaysia!

We went back to our resort on Tuk-Tuk again...

Don't play-play.. they even have buttons in the cab which function like those on a bus... press for next stop ;) We went over to Ao Nang again to walk around before retiring to our hotel rooms... We had cup noodles for dinner.. LOL!
