Puchong Community Orchestra and Choir

We didn't manage to attend Amru's wedding kenduri this afternoon.. Sigh, and Yoon Onn didn't take any pictures.. what's the point of owning a DSLR? :P Amru shared his photos here. That's Amru, his first wife and his second wife..

In the evening, we got 2 tickets from Hiew to attend Puchong Community Orchestra and Choir.. It is our country’s first community orchestra!

YB Teresa Kok as their patron..

The performance was held at Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam.. right next to Selangor UMNO..:P

Musician from as young as 10 years old to 70+ years old from all main races performed together.. besides a few technical hiccups, the performance was quite good ;)

This was how I spent my Earth Hour.. listening to music in a bright auditorium :P

I heard about the Puchong Choir and would ike to know more about this Choir and Orchestra, I was with Sarawak State Choir for 25 years and my two daughters were in State Orchestra for a number of years when they were back home in Kuching. I love to know more about this group and wonder how to get in contact as I am a Sarawakian, and do have many photos and some videos of the Sarawak State Choir during the past performances in FB.
You can write to me with this address hana_ko@myway.com or silverswan55@gmail.com

Thank you
